How come my computer games lag?
So my computer can play games like Skyrim with almost best graphic settings, but when I try to play games like Amnesia the dark descent and Metro 2033 it lags no matter what graphic settings I have. Metro 2033 was bought from steam and amnesia was not, any ideas?
What are some good, older, computer games?
I'm looking for some new games to play on the PC. I say older, because my computer really isn't capable of playing new games anymore. Anything that's 2009 or older should be good, or new games if their requirements aren't too much.Some games that I've played are....Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, Age of Empires 2& 3, Unreal, black and white, fallout, doom.I tried playing the witcher and risen, but they were too much. I was thinking about trying the predecessors to Risen, Gothic I think?Anyway, if you have any suggestions, let me know Thanks all.Let me add some details...I don't want REALLY old games. Just older ish. As I said, anything pre 2009 should be fine.Forgot to add Half Life and Portal.

Can I use a Logitech F510 controller with all computer games or should I get an Xbox controller?
So I recently built the gaming computer of my dream and I've been buying a lot of games lately. I've noticed that some don't work as well with a mouse and keyboard as they might using a controller. I've rounded it down to either the Logitech F510 or the Xbox 360 wired personal preference controller for PC. I understand that the Logitech comes with software to configure the buttons but I have heard that some games will really only work with the Xbox controller. Is there any truth in this?
Mounting computer games?
i have backed up some of my computer games using alcahole 120 % and when i mount them it asks for a cd but its already mounted how do i make it work??i know its the copy protection but i own these games they are in no way pirated i travel alot for work and i just wanted it so i didnt have to bring all the disks with me

I've been trying to download older PC games onto my computer a long with trying to run older games on my computer. The games i was trying to download are Wolfenstein and Doom. the PC games i was trying to run on my computer are only like 10 years old but are incompatible... what do i need to download to get these games compatible with a 64 bit?
Why do computer games bought on GameFly change the computer's registry files when installed?
I was wondering if anybody knew why this is? I have something a program on my computer that fixes registry errors but if somebody could please tell me why games purchased from GameFly do this or if it's just all computer games.the registry " fixer" is part of a program that is from iolo's system mechanic program
